Funeral Services for Lucille Kuhlman, age 95, of Laurel, formerly of Tucson, AZ, will be held at United Lutheran Church in Laurel on Wednesday, June 14th, 10:30 a.m. Visitation is at United Lutheran Church on Wednesday June 14th, with a 9:00 a.m. service time.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Laurel. Interment will be at East Lawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson, AZ. She passed away Monday at the Hillcrest Care Center. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
Lucille Frances Kuhlman was born December 12, 1921, at Belden to Bliss and Ruth (Fortner) Moseley. She graduated from Belden High School and received her BA Degree from Wayne State College. Lucille married Wayne “Gus” Kuhlman February 13, 1944, at her parents’ home in Belden. Lucille was a school teacher in the Belden and Carroll area and then was employed for five years at First National Bank of Belden. Lewis was stationed at Marana during World War II when they moved to Tucson, Arizona. In 1956, she joined Southern Arizona Bank and Trust Company where she was Assistant Cashier, and head of the Central Desk. She was a member of the American Institute of Banking, National Association of Bank Women, Altrusa Club, and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Tucson, AZ. Lucille enjoyed golfing, bowling, and eating out.
Lucille is survived by her nieces, Karen (Jim) Thompson of Laurel and Carol (the late Don) Bruning of Hartington; great-nephews, Tim (Teresa) Granquist of Laurel, Mike (Jean) Granquist of Laurel, Mark (Kristi) Bruning of Hartington; great-nieces, Tina Ballard of Broomfield, CO and Julie (Dave) Harding of Ponca; 10 great-great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-great nephews.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis “Wayne” in 1987; brother, Donald Moseley; sister, Lois Marie (Cyril) Smith; and two nephews-in-law.
