Funeral Services for Marian M. Perry, age 80, of Wayne will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne on Thursday March 16th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne on Wednesday, March 15th from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with family present. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.  She passed away Wednesday, March 8th in Omaha. Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.

Memorials may be directed toward to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne or The Methodist Hospital Foundation in Omaha for oncology research and cancer prevention programs.
Marian was born September 25th, 1936, in Wayne to Henry and Margaret (Weyerts) Kugler. She was baptized and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayne. She graduated from Wayne High School in 1954, where she was a drum majorette and went on to attend Wayne State College. She married Gene Perry June 16th, 1957, at Redeemer Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and served on the Altar Guild. The couple was engaged in farming until Gene’s death June 20th, 1978. Marian was employed in the Wayne County Clerk’s office for fourteen years and also worked as the Society Editor at the Wayne Herald. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne. More than anything Marian treasured her family, her home, good friends and neighbors. She was an amazing mother who dedicated her life to her children.
   Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Don Hook of Omaha; her son, Ted Perry of Omaha; grandson, Samuel Perry of Wayne; granddaughters, Leah Perry and Elaina Perry of Wayne; brother, Bill and Rae Kugler of Wayne; and nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene; and her sister, Bonnie ‘Kugler’ Panter.
