WAYNE - The Early Learning Center in Wayne has been open a week, and serves a classroom of 20 pre-school students.
Director Misty Beair says the Early Learning Center was made to provide access.
"We were finding we had a group of children every year that pre-school wasn't accessible for, and one of our goals was to make sure that every child had access to pre-school if they wanted to be here."
The center provides many services, as well as a curriculum that follows Department of Education requirements.
"We have translators available, a sliding fee scale, we have transportation available for families who that might be a concern. We have a pretty rigorous pre-school program that really focuses on play."
With a maximum capacity of 30 students, and 20 already enrolled the center has room still to accept more kids.
