Hall of Fame Game Opens The 2015 NFL Preseason

The 2015 Hall of Fame Game took place in Canton, Ohio Sunday evening opening up the 2015 National Football League preseason contest. The Pittsburg Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings squared off with the Vikings defeated the Steelers 14-3 with the back-ups playing a major role for both teams.
When the Vikings took the field first though, offensively, it was the #1’s that took the field. Teddy Bridgewater and company drove 51 yards in 10 plays but failed to score from the Steelers 10-yard line.
On the other hand the Steelers scored first with a 36-yard Field Goal from Shaun Suisham in the second quarter to make the score 3-0. The Vikings would tack on two TD’s to win the game, though.
The first right after allowing the field goal the Vikings drove 81 yards in 8 plays for a Mike Kafka pass to MyCole Pruitt for a 34-yard TD. The second in the third quarter after a 62-yard punt return that put the ball at the 1-yard line of the Steelers, Joe Banyard dove in for the TD on the first play.

The 2015 NFL preseason will continue on for four weeks featuring 16 games per week from August 13 – September 4. All leading up to the regular season opener on Thursday September 10 featuring the defending Super Bowl champions, New England Patriots vs. the Pittsburg Steelers.
