A new coach does not mean lower expectations at Nebraska where the Huskers are set to open Fall Camp.
Mike Riley inherits a team that finished 9-4 last year after a 45-42 loss to USC in the Holiday Bowl.
Offensive lineman Alex Lewis says the goal for his senior year is to win a championship. “Diamonds on my finger, that’s what I want”, said Lewis. “That’s why I came to Nebraska. I came here to win and to win big.”
The Huskers hit the practice field for the first time, tonight. They open the season at home on September fifth against BYU.
