WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY)- The pairings for next weekend’s Class B, District 5 American Legion Seniors baseball tournament have been announced. Wayne entered last night’s seeding meeting tied with Aurora for the best winning percentage. Aurora was given the #1 seed and Wayne claimed the #2 seed on a coin flip. The first round of the tournament starts Thursday, July 19 in Central City. Wayne, who enters the tournament at 21-6 overall, will see their first action at 5:00 on Friday, July 20 against the winner of Albion and Valentine.
