LOS ANGELES (AP)- Erik Mattingly pitched six strong innings and Anthony Bemboom homered to lead Creighton to a 7-2 victory over New Mexico yesterday. Mattingly scattered three hits and gave up two runs for the Bluejays in the elimination game of the Los Angeles Regional. Reese McGraw pitched the final three innings for his fifth save on Sunday. The Bluejays defeated San Diego 8-2 on Saturday, after falling to UCLA in the opening round on Friday.
