No. 3-ranked Iowa wrestling team takes final 2 matches, earns dual win over No. 9 Nebraska

LINCOLN — Third-ranked Iowa won the final two matches to earn a 20-13 dual win over No. 9 Nebraska on Sunday afternoon at the Devaney Center.

Spencer Lee, the defending national champion at 125 pounds, put the Hawkeyes in front with an 18-4 major decision over Zeke Moisey, then 133-pound Austin DeSanto, ranked third nationally, won by technical fall.

Nebraska led 13-12 with two matches to go. The Huskers’ wins included at 157, where second-ranked Tyler Berger scored a takedown in sudden victory for a 3-1 win over seventh-ranked Kaleb Young, and at heavyweight, where 14th-ranked David Jensen earned a 3-0 win over third-ranked Sam Stoll.
