Former Husker receiver Keyan Williams commits to Ball State

Keyan Williams, the former Husker receiver and son of ex-NU assistant Keith Williams, committed to Ball State on Tuesday.

Williams announced May 14 he was leaving the Nebraska football program. Ball State will be his third school. He began his collegiate career at Fresno State before joining his father at Nebraska.

Keyan battled injuries throughout his two years at Nebraska and caught just one pass for 19 yards. He did not record a catch in last month’s spring game.

Williams is a graduate transfer and will be eligible immediately for Ball State.
