Hearings waived, bonds set in incest case

GRAND ISLAND, NE (Omaha World-Herald News Service) – Bond has been set for each of the suspects in a central Nebraska incest case.

Judge Alfred Corey set 39-year-old Travis Fieldgrove’s bond at 100 thousand dollars and set 21-year-old Samantha Kershner’s bond at five thousand dollars.

A condition of Fieldgrove’s bond is that he has no contact with Kershner.

They each waived their preliminary hearings.

Grand Island police believe the suspects began an intimate relationship in September, despite evidence that Fieldgrove is Kershner’s father.

The pair were married October 1st in Hastings.

As of Thursday, both remained in the Hall County Jail.
