Anne Boyle funeral arrangements

OMAHA, NE (News Channel Nebraska) – Anne Boyle will be laid to rest tomorrow (Saturday) in Omaha.

The former leader of the Nebraska Democratic Party and former member of the Nebraska Public Service Commission passed away earlier this week after suffering a stroke, she was 75.

The services are at Heafey and Hoffman Mortuary at 78th and Center. Visitation is from 9 am to 11 am. The funeral is at 11.

Officials across the state have offered their condolences and remembrances. Jane Kleeb, the head of the Nebraska Democratic Party says that “Anne leaves a legacy of service we will work every day to honor.”

Public Service Commissioner Crystal Rhoades noted that “Anne was a nationally recognized leader because she dedicated her life to fighting for people who need it the most.”

Once again the services are tomorrow at Heafey and Hoffman Mortuary at 78th and Center in Omaha. Visitation is from 9 am to 11 am. The funeral is at 11.

Anne Boyle is survived by her husband, Douglas County Commissioner and former Omaha Mayor Mike Boyle, and their five children.
